Provide Facilities Engineering support to the engineering department to assist in the development of new and existing facility requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Support facility manager and contractors in facilities requirements, ¬ daily reviews of maintenance work, weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance reviews/checkup on critical facilities systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, general outside facilities and all other systems needed to support all plant and operations facilities in New Braunfels

* Assist in development of capital spending plans to develop a list and cost estimate of critical facility system replacements and enhancements, as needed due to aging of equipment and/or changing needs of the New Braunfels manufacturing environment

* Train and develop existing facilities staff on ongoing machine requirements

* Support ongoing continuous improvement (5S) initiatives within the facility

* Work on continuous improvement with existing supplier base of facilities outside services ¬ electrical, plumbing and other to ensure the "best" price possible in a 100% safe work environment both with the suppliers and employees

Basic Qualifications:

* Associates Degree or 5+ years of technical work experience in lieu of a degree

* 2+ years specific experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, to include project management

* High level of competency in a variety of Computerized Maintenance Management systems

High level of skill in the creation and presentation of a variety of facility maintenance type job responsibilities and tracking systems to ensure an efficient and cost-effective process

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface well with administration, maintenance, and employees

* Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

* High degree of problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

* High degree of integrity and discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

* Experience performing facilities engineering work in a manufacturing environment
