As a Field Service Engineer you mission will include the following: installation, repair, adjustment, test, start up, debugging, customer training, and maintenance of IBA Industrial’s Electron Beam Accelerators.

Job description:
As a Field Service Engineer you mission will include the following: installation, repair, adjustment, test, start up, debugging, customer training, and maintenance of IBA Industrial’s Electron Beam Accelerators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check out and approve operational quality of equipment.
- Instruct customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of system.
- Ability to work independently on a customer’s site while solving complex problems.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Use professional concepts and procedures to solve equipment problems.
- Extensive use of meters, oscilloscopes, other test equipment, hand and power tools.
- Requires extensive traveling, domestic and international, up to 50%Performs all testing (electrical, mechanical, vacuum, leak, high pressure).
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
You have :
- AA in electrical or electronics technology.
- Minimum of (5) years as a customer service technician with hands on experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical background.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. .
- Experience with maintenance of high-power electronic equipment.
- Experience working with RF and vacuum systems.
- Strong communicator (Engish) written & verbal with an ability to work well with customers and internal teams.
- omputer skills for MS Office. SAP a plus
