Financial Management is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Operational Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a Financial Analyst on the Operational FP&A team you will close month end, prepare projections/budgets and partner with leaders by providing information and analysis to support decision making. This role will report to a Manager I.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with all month-end close processes and is aware of the various systems and databases available to help resolve variances
- Prepares monthly reports for teams and divisions and ensures reports are accurate, complete, and timely
- Demonstrates ability to complete projects on time and with high quality
- Responsible for delivering timely, thoughtful projections and budgets for sales and business partner teams
- Partners with teams to understand the business, key drivers, and trends that will impact future results
- Partners with leaders by providing information and analysis necessary aid in decision support
- Develops relationships across the organization, particularly within Financial Management and the teams and divisions supported
Qualifications
- Demonstrates the ability to live the CHG core values
- Understanding of general accounting principles
- Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- Understands business processes required to meet ongoing organization needs
- Works well in a team environment
- Has a positive can-do attitude as well as a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and will work extended hours when needed to complete tasks on time
- Effective and appropriate in written and verbal communication
- Open to feedback and proactively asks questions
Education
- 1 - 3 Years work experience in finance, accounting, or related field
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
- Experience with information systems used in FP&A: WorkDay, OneStream, Salesforce
