Summary Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, for organization by performing the following duties. This is a temp. 6 month project with possible conversion to Full-time role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Works with production inventory teams to coordinate inventory moves and releases
• Manages communication with 3PL regarding inventory movement and releases
• Manages raw material sales orders
• Supports receiving teams by providing PO information
• Works with QA team on age letter requests
• Coordinates physical inventory and cycle counts with 3PL
• Generates daily raw material summary reports for the leadership team
• Responsible for weekly inventory reconciliations with outside storage
• Creates PO's with direction from Raw Material Purchaser
• Prepares a weekly reconciliation between general ledger and inventory sub-ledger transactions
• Provides a weekly aged inventory summary for Finance department and the bank
• Works with R&D and suppliers on new items
• Analyzes usage of counts and determines if recounts are necessary
• Creates new raw material codes as needed
• Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
• Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery,
• product quality or performance, and inventories.
• Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
• Approves invoices for payment, expedites delivery of goods to users and performs other duties, as needed.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); At least one year of related experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
