Job Summary:

The Finisher is primarily responsible for operating shot peen machines and doing powder coating. Finishers will be trained on the functions and controls of the machines to produce high quality parts for lift kit and suspension systems. Finishers will be taught how to identify defects or flaws in the powder coat. Finishers will be responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean work area.

Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am

Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Work under the direction of the shift Lead shot peening & Powder Coating production parts.
• May be some sand blasting and hand sanding of parts to achieve finishes.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (40-60lbs) and must be able to stand full shift.
• Complete PMs as outlined on machines and make sure they are done on time.
• Sweep and mop area at end of shift and as needed during shift.
• Verify the quality of the work produced.
• Keep similar parts separated by color and quantities listed on Traveler.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of relevant experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Willingness to learn
