Floor Technician Job at Momentum Building Services, LLC
Job Summary
Momentum Building Services is a locally owned and operated company that focuses on commercial and industrial cleaning. We're looking for a floor technician to add to our rapidly growing team. Under general direction, clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces, and performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
Essential Functions
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Ability to work without normal supervision
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors: tile, carpet , and brick flooring
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner.
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Use and maintain equipment properly.
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
- Observe safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs “wet floor”
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must have floor tech experience (Waxing, Buffing, etc.)
- Must pass Drug Screen
- TWIC Card is a PLUS!
- OSHA Certification is a PLUS!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
