Responsibilities of the Food Service Director:
- Manage the operation of the Dietary Department including staffing, food ordering and preparation, food delivery and clean-up in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans and appropriate regulations.
- Lead the clinical efforts of the department and responsibilities depending upon background and qualification.
- Should have long-term care experience in Dietetics,
- Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as being customer service driven.
- Certification as a Dietary Manager, Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian will be considered.
