Job description:

• RF-EME Trained, OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, Capstan Hoist, Rigging, NWSA Preferred
• Must have 3 to 4 years of Tower Climbing experience
• Previous experience of managing a team of 2 to 5 people.
• Be able to solve team issues, crew scheduling, crew accountability, crew safety enforcement
• Communicate with Construction and Project Managers of construction progress, concerns and deviations from plans or established schedule
• Ensure tasks assigned to crew are completed in timely manner
• Train and assist employees
• May maintain and enforce all OSHA safety practices, perform daily jobsite safety inspections prior to operation. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
• Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project
• Work with Construction Manager or Site Supervisor to analyze job requirements such as labor and materials
• Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew
• Ensure the quality control requirements are met at the site
• Operation and adjustment of commonly used tools efficiently
• Frequent performance of duties in outside weather conditions exposure to inclement weather conditions
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and ability to commute to headquarters in Woodstock, GA as well as sites.

Essential Duties:

• Must be reliable – daily attendance for scheduled work is mandatory and must be able to complete projects on time
• Must be well-organized, self-starter with a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to lift over 100 lbs.
• Climb with upwards of 50 lbs.
• Communicating both verbally and in writing
• Closely adheres to all safety standards and procedures. Identifies gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provides recommendations to higher level technical staff and management
• Maintains proper care of Company tools and vehicles
• Performs overtime work, including working a flexible and variable work schedule as needed to meet business objectives
• Must be able to adhere to random drug/alcohol screening
• Must have clear driving record
• Must have the ability to climb tall structures that exceed no more than 500 feet in height
• Must be comfortable working remotely with limited supervisor interaction
