Position Summary:

The Foreman position is responsible for field project daily management, employee timecards, equipment management, material management and cost management for each project. Working with the sales team & customers to generate desired receivables for each customer. Reporting daily to project coordinators and Field Service manager on progress and issues. Safety follow up and communication with ISS national safety team. Reports on each project, safety, equipment utilization, employee issues, reviews, and customer completion forms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers on assigned projects. Identify areas of improvement to meet Field Service goals.
  • Field Service project management related to each job assigned as a foreman, verify job scope of work, and estimate to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of daily/monthly/quarterly projects to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and manage projects to ensure compliance with manhours, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports on project status.
  • Travel as required for inspections, projects, and site reviews.
  • Able to perform field service work to support high-demand service needs.
  • Collaborate with sales team on projects and customer support.
  • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the Customer’s needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience in a Field Service Foreman role, Maintenance management role or relevant position.
  • Prior service or other customer-focused experience.
  • Maintenance/mechanical experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical background including machining experience and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Well-organized, detailed-oriented, and capable of managing projects to completion in addition to daily activities.
  • Proven communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers.
  • Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Up-to-date understanding of the industry's consumer behavior.
  • Ability to successfully work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook. As well as other company software.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel. (90%) as needed.
  • Tow Motor certification.
  • Rigging certification.
  • Crane operator certification.
  • Ability to attend training on equipment operation and certification classes as needed to perform duties and responsibilities.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

  • Travel as required to support customers and projects.
  • Field conditions can vary, with long hours, exposure to weather extremes (particularly heat), dust, and hazardous conditions.
  • The environmental conditions for this job range from climate controlled indoor activity to inclement outdoor extremes of cold, heat, wind, and various forms of precipitation.
  • Must be able to be on feet for several hours at a time and be ambulatory and mobile to walk the worksites. Additional requirement includes climbing ladders/stairs and lifting as required to perform necessary job tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a periodic basis.
