Job Summary

The Concrete Foreman will oversee the prep work, placement, installation, finishing, curing, cutting, and oversite of all tasks. Examples of work include footings and foundations, retaining wall foundations, building floors, driveways and aprons, and grain system pits.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interpreting blueprints, plans, and drawings.
• Estimating timelines of the projects.
• Overseeing all activities and providing instruction to the concrete crew members.
• Accurately documents materials used and hours worked.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of on-site construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required; Continued education is preferred but not required.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Experience operating machinery is preferred, such as skid-steer, backhoe, telehandler, excavator, truss screed, and laser screed.
• Experience operating laser level and shooting elevations in preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to and excess of 75 pounds.
• Must be able to lift in a variety of weather conditions and elements.
