About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Transport foster children and other agency clients to necessary visits, court dates, or other locations as necessary to meet established treatment goals.
- Supervise visits between foster children and natural parents to ensure compliance with agreed upon visitation plans as well as state, federal and agency regulations, and procedures.
- As requested, act as a liaison between the caseworker and foster families and/or biological parents; communicate client concerns to the assigned family worker.
- Provide advocacy and mentoring services for children and families, as directed by family support workers/team supervisors.
- Complete necessary paperwork to document provided services, and to comply with state, federal, and agency requirements.
- Assist with foster parent recruitment activities when requested.
- Supports family workers through filing, copying, delivering reports, etc.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 0-3 Years of Child Welfare Experience (Preferred)
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check (Required)
- Must be at least 21 years of age, obtain an insured vehicle, clean driving record, and three years driving record with a valid driver's license
