Our Motel 6 location in Huron, OH AND Motel 6 Milan has an immediate need for 3rd Shift Front Desk Clerk!

This team member is crucial to the property’s success ensuring that our guests are provided a fast accurate check-in by a smiling friendly face after their long travels. Our GSR will manage our guests check-in and check-outs as well as be the first responder to any guest issues.

The person selected for this role will have:

• 2+ years of experience in a hands-on customer service role – preferably in a fast food, retail or hospitality environment.
• Computer efficiency
• Passion for customer service
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
• Problem identification and resolution skills
• Must be willing to work flexible NIGHT SHIFT/EVENING REQUIRED

Product Excellence:Deliver a great guest experience by connecting with friendly and smiling service and a fast and accurate check in as outlined in the Customer Service Manual including:

• Guest registration, computing and collecting payment, and verification of credit card transactions
• Read and run various reports
• Make and confirm guest reservations
• Maintain records of assigned and available rooms
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of front lobby
• Proactively recognize and address guest concerns
• Report any safety and security issues that require attention
• Complete the Shift Checklist
• Guest Excellence:Cheerfully interact and assist guests with information regarding property and local amenities

Qualifications and Skills

The person selected for this role will have:

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.25 - $11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
