GENERAL FUNCTION
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Under the direction of the General Manager, the incumbent will assist in managing all aspects of sales, memberships, and gym store. This position will lead all sales tactics, sale development, sales team training, recruitment and increase memberships and brand awareness in the region. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. This position may also require evening and weekend work hours depending on need. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.

KNOW HOW
The position prefers a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, Marketing, or Public Affairs. Position requires at least three years or more of professional experience in sales, management, or health. Requires effective written and oral communication skills (English and Spanish preferred).
- BS/MS degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, or Public Affairs preferred
- Previous successful experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets required
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from finding leads to closing sales
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 pounds without strain, lift arms above your head, squat, and bend over regularly. Be mentally alert to recognize potential hazards and accidents as well. Must be able to make sound judgments and decisions. Ability to handle irate, complaining, or demanding individuals without internalizing and personalizing comments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
A. Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence.
B. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
C. Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
D. Lead recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
E. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
F. Engage with customers and increase gym store sales.
G. Manage and develop internal/external communications between staff and customers.
H. Assist General Manager in daily task and objectives.
I. Attend periodic community events.
J. Participate in training and update meetings with management and staff.
K. Record and collect evaluation data on sales and memberships trends.
L. Assist with collaboration and effective communication with a variety of individuals representing diverse cultures and backgrounds and function calmly in situations, which require a high degree of sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
M. Assist with the overall completion of objectives and goals of the gym management.
N. Develop well written monthly, quarterly and year end reports.
O. Other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- El Paso, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Retail Store Managers: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
