JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Front Desk/Receptionist Department: Sales
Location: Sales Office Supervisor: Designated Broker
Classification: Part-time Sundays- Mondays Pay Grade: $20 - $25 per hour DOE

Job Summary:
The Front Desk/Receptionist position is ultimately responsible for assisting and organizing the daily operations of
the sales office, as well as the team members. This position has many facets to ensure the guests, clients, and
homeowners have an impeccable experience. The position requires regular engagement with guests and clients,
phone and computer communication, scheduling of appointments and regular business office activities. This role
will strive to continually improve guest experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
A. Reception and Guest Services:
a. Greet guests at the Sales Center, manage the guest experience such as asking guests to complete a
registration form, offer and supply refreshments.
b. Office operations (ie - answer phones, direct calls, respond to inquiries)
c. Be a positive, friendly first interaction for guests and homeowners.
d. Arrange for and procure refreshments for sales meetings, Town Tours, special events as necessary.

B. Sales Team Support
a. Provide daily support to sales team members in terms of preparing resources for individual sales meetings
and for daily interaction with guests including but not limited to: sales sheets, sales packets, etc.
b. Interact with guests, telling the Seabrook story as needed and when sales team members are busy.
c. Input data into CRM for guest cards for sales office and model home, as well as for agents when required.
d. Respond to CRM leads
e. Manage the office in terms of appearance, supplies, team coordination.
f. When necessary, provide outreach to additional support staff to cover schedule.
g. Maintain online resources and physical files for collateral and support files for lot and home sales.
h. Assist with planning and execution of sales team events and contests
i. Schedule regular maintenance for sales vehicles including making sure tabs & insurance are up to date
j. Create homeowner closing gifts
k. Create the best customer experience possible
l. Contribute to creating a team environment
m. Provide consistent collaboration to improve processes and procedures
n. Communicate effectively
o. Performs other duties as assigned or as the needs of Seabrook dictate.

Supervision:
A. Supervision Received: Performs work independently with a great deal of autonomy but under the general
supervision of the Designated Broker. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work without direct
supervision whenever required to meet the demands of the company and the needs of the Sales Office.

Minimum Qualifications:
A. Education & Experience:
1. Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Experience: 2-5 years in customer service preferred.

B. Skills & Abilities:
1. Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in English as the
operational language of the company. Spanish or other languages may be accommodated for as staffing
needs dictate and as available. Be able to communicate effectively with a varied population, including
individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, cultural and economic backgrounds.
2. Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and geometry
to determine supply needs and to perform detailed function of the job.
3. Reasoning Abilities: The Front Desk Receptionist is expected to use a reasonable degree of sound
professional judgment in assuring acceptable standards of performance within the areas of his/her
responsibilities. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists.
4. Office/Computer Skills: Ability to function in a PC environment using MS Office programs efficiently
with minimal errors as necessary. Exhibit a willingness and ability to learn computer operations on a
variety of different systems including all existing system and all future systems necessary to perform
duties. Ability to use a personal computer, printer, copy machine, and telephone as necessary.
5. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks; react quickly and
calmly to emergencies; make effective decisions while in stressful situations and circumstances. Must
have a proven history and be able to maintain confidentiality.

l. Ability to use basic office equipment including phones, fax machines, scanners, smartphones,
printers, and laptops.
m. Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as the needs of the
business change or require.

Physical Requirements (including but not limited to):
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
1. Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures below 32 or exceeding 90
degrees at times.
2. Primarily working indoors in an office environment.
3. Occasional exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises.
4. Driving a vehicle to conduct work.
5. Possible exposure to heights, and loud noises.
6. Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to communicate effectively in an articulate manner.
7. Standing and walking for extended periods.
8. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of computers and office equipment.
9. Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching.
10. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 25 pounds.
11. Occasional high-stress situations.

Additional Requirements:
1. Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of liability insurance.
2. Must accept confidentiality as a strict condition of employment.
3. Successfully pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screen.
4. Successfully pass Criminal Background Check.
5. Maintain any training and credential requirements as per policy and procedure required for the position
now and in the future.
6. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
7. Dress Code - Business Casual
