Responsibilities:

The incumbent will provide front-line support for the customer service operations of the Registrar's Office.

The General Assistant will:

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors and answering phones
  • Processing declaration of majors forms
  • Assist with Undergraduate Graduation process
  • Assist with Transfer rule verification project

Duties include monitoring, responding to and routing a high volume of email. The position coordinates and executes responses to a high volume of inquiries regarding student records, registration, transfer credit, and graduation.

After training, telework may be available.

Schedule will tentatively be Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm (20 hours per week)



Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of clerical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

One Year experience in higher education.

Hourly rate starts at $20/hour and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Additional Information:
This is a temporary position. Initial contract is for 12 months with the possibility of renewal.
