Anderson County Government is looking for a qualified General Dentist to work in our local dental clinic. With over 78,000 residents in both urban and rural settings, we bolster a diverse group of individuals needing dental care. We maintain the most modern equipment and facilities to serve our community best; we feature digital records, x-rays, and pan-x-ray equipment. The dental clinic is at the Anderson County Health Department, 710 N. Main St. Clinton TN.

The clinic serves Anderson County patients of all ages, with a mix of children and adults at about 50/50. The Dentist will provide general dentistry including preventive procedures, and operative dentistry to appropriate patients. We focus on comprehensive care for the underserved residents of Anderson County and surrounding counties. Our clinic accepts TennCare (Medicaid) and private pay but does not accept private insurance.

Pay:

• $70-$75 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Schedule:

The position is 30 hours a week, however, we are flexible on schedules. Our clinic is a 3-4 chair operation, staffed with a clinic manager and two dental assistants. The clinic hours are 8 AM to 3:30 PM M-F.

The candidate will be expected to help staff the County volunteer extraction clinic on an as-needed basis for one day a month.
