General Labor

Assigned General Labor job duties are, but not limited to, help pack the bags of apple chips into boxes, sort product, weigh product, stacking/building boxes, slicing apples. The general labor position could be in our Processing or Packaging department on either day or graveyard shift.

Responsibilities:

• Keep work area clean
• Monitor product flow
• Sorting Product
• Completing paperwork properly
• Filling soak tanks
• Run machinery
• Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Job requires standing for long periods of time
• Work in a high noise area
• Prompt, dependable, consistently good with attendance
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime
• Job requires working in a high temperature environment
