The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, an excellent understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of human resources policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. In this role you will build strong relationships with your assigned communities/leaders, develop robust recruitment plans for frontline and leadership openings, deliver quality candidates to the hiring manager, and offer creative recruitment solutions for difficult to fill positions. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will work a hybrid model, working remotely and traveling to our corporate office and assigned community locations as needed.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
- Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
- Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, virtually or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned region.
- Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned region.
- Uses traditional and non-traditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
- Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS degree in business, human resources, organizational development or other relevant discipline
- 8 to 10 years’ experience working in human resources/associate relations
- Technical knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems
