Housekeeping Supervisor Job at La Quinta Inns & Suites Radford, VA
We are looking for staff members who are Energetic, Focused, Friendly, able to Multi-task and are Passionate about Cleaning and taking care of our guests. A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the entire hotel, from public areas (including Lobby, Hallways, Stairwell, Fitness Room and Meeting Room) to individual bedrooms and bathrooms to back of house areas, including offices. Other core functions of a Housekeeping Supervisor role include recruiting, training and developing, planning, inventory control and working with suppliers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up the day with Staff and Supplies based on the number of guest rooms to be cleaned.
- Excellent Time management skills so that staff end their day on time.
- Maintaining supplies of linen, cleaning chemicals and guest supplies.
- Attention to detail to ensure rooms are clean and working properly.
- You've got to be self motivated, adaptable, an excellent team motivator and team builder.
- You will also need to be effective at extending the life of linen and towels.
- Be response and have the ability to solve problems and think on your feet.
- Be be able to use a smart phone.
Competitive Hourly Rate base on what you are able to bring to the table.
