Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing the functional duties of HR on a professional level in a healthcare setting. This position works closely with management to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance. This position may handle special projects and some travel will be expected.

Technical Responsibilities: *

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for all company personnel, including the recruitment of licensed clinicians.
  • Participates in strategic workforce planning initiatives including understanding workforce demographics and then producing creative and effective advertising campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
  • Conducts employment screenings, including but not limited to, applicant tracking, contacting references, performing background checks, and establishing offers based on existing compensation plans.
  • Responsible for scheduling and facilitating new employee orientation. This includes developing and updating materials and procedures for the new hire orientation program.
  • Maintains trusting working relationships with managers on human resources matters, including recruitment, employee retention, and employee engagement.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Performs benefit administration duties including change reports and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Maintains compliant personnel records and paperwork.
  • Performs exit interviews.
  • Understands and maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment benefit laws and regulations.
  • Is actively involved in committees and activities associated with employee health and wellness, diversity, and community outreach.
  • Maintains confidentiality on personnel related matters.
  • Leads/facilitates internal focus groups and committees as applicable, pertaining to training and development, employee relations, etc.
