HR Generalist (Remote, but must live in Southern CA) Job at Galen Mental Health
This is a remote position, but the ideal candidate will live in the Southern CA area.

Galen Mental Health is actively building and partnering with leading mental health provider organizations that are focused on clinical excellence, outcomes-driven approaches, and integrated models across the continuum of care.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related questions.
- Assist employees with any benefit-related questions/issues.
- Assist in employee relations, performance counseling, terminations and the development of appropriate and effective documentation.
- Build relationships with staff at all levels; assure that new employees integrate effectively into the organization.
- Collaborate with HR team to create and schedule training on various topics.
- Assist CHRO and HRBP on company communications.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of personnel files in compliance with Joint Commission and all applicable licensing and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with annual open enrollment planning and presentation, performance reviews and employment engagement surveys.
- Assist in the redevelopment and standardization of performance review process with the HR Team.
- Assist in enhancing/maintaining a corporate on-boarding process in terms of both HR administrative processes and professional orientation to the workplace, post-hire.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of status change forms (job title changes, salary increases, etc.)
- Responsible for adding and terminating employees in HRIS.
- Responsible for monthly metrics/reports from HRIS.
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of HR Generalist experience a plus; recruiting and administrative experience required.
- Stellar communications and professional collaboration skills (oral and written) with ability to interact with a wide variety or professionals and personalities in a fast paced, rapidly growing organization.
- Self-starter with good sense of professional urgency and consistent follow through.
- Ability to operate well with ambiguity and with rapidly evolving processes.
- Experience in behavioral health preferred.
- Proficient computer skills and ability use various software programs.
- Successfully complete drug screen and comprehensive background check.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Pay: $58,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
