More about this Leadership Role
- Provide leadership for HR operations and team members.
- Build strong relationships with our operations teams.
- Analyze total rewards offerings and make recommendations to ensure market competitiveness, compliance, and best practices.
- Provide employee relations support and guidance in a variety of circumstances including reasonable accommodations, leaves, investigations, and terminations.
- Partner with managers to take care of their team members – including onboarding, operational support, and off-boarding.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all federal, state, and local laws – ensure all programs and processes are in full compliance at all times.
- Identify, develop, and deliver on tactics and strategies designed to increase team member retention, engagement, and productivity.
- Provide appropriate training and development to team members at all levels, including leaders.
- Maintain knowledge of the top HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Lead and champion HR-related projects.
- 5 or more years of HR experience in a senior level individual contributor or leadership role required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
- HRCI (PHRca, SPHR, PHR) and/or SHRM (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) certification strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of California state and federal employment laws and regulations required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are required – organization, time management, collaboration, customer service, verbal/written communication, maintaining confidentiality, etc.
- Ability to perform work in a traditional office environment, including work at a desk and on a computer
- Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check, drug screen, etc.
- Willingness to perform other functions and duties as needed
