HR Programs Manager Job at Hilltop Holdings, Inc.
Job Summary: The HR Programs Manager will partner with the Human Resources team and business leaders to drive both Talent Development programs, as well as Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives across the Hilltop Holdings enterprise. This individual contributor will lead comprehensive programs that focus on improving employee capabilities and strengthening the skill set of the existing workforce, including the development of communication strategies for design and delivery of these programs. Additionally, this role will facilitate DEIB Councils to: celebrate diversity within the Hilltop workplace, engage employees in DEIB activities/efforts, and deliver DEIB education and development opportunities.
This position is hybrid- 2 days remote and 3 days in office (University Park, 75205) per week
Essential Functions:
- Build from existing development programs to improve and deliver cohort-based early professionals’ program, with success measurements defined
- Build from existing development programs to propose, develop, and deploy cohort-based Mid-level career women’s program, with success measurements defined
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify talent development needs across the organization, building out new programs as appropriate
- Manage vendor relationships related to external coaching engagements, 360 assessment tools, external speakers, and DEIB training courses to ensure timely and quality deliverables
- Collaborate closely with HR Leaders and Executive Stakeholders to develop short and long term DEIB strategies to deploy and measure for success
- Facilitate Diversity Council and Women’s Momentum Executive Committees to drive enterprise DEIB efforts, with events planned at least on a quarterly basis
- Lead all aspects of event management of in-person and virtual initiatives within scope of role
- Oversee and manage budgets for all programs and events
- Partner with Marketing to develop communication and digital strategies for all initiatives, ensuring all relevant functions/stakeholders are kept informed
- Prepare ad hoc training materials as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology or related discipline
- 5-7 years progressive experience in Human Resources
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in training facilitation and program development
- Substantial knowledge of DEIB: principles, best practices, and current/emerging trends
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into organization development plans
- Excellent written, oral and positive influential interpersonal skills required
- Must be a poised, confident and engaging presenter of a wide variety of topics
- Strong collaboration, relationship, and consensus-building skills, with an ability to work with employees across multiple departments, levels, and functions within the organization
- Solid knowledge of all MS Office products, especially PowerPoint and Outlook
- Event management experience preferred
- Adaptability, flexibility and effectiveness in handling multiple priorities simultaneously
