We are seeking an innovative HR Specialist to join our Human Resources department team to perform various activities related to employment, enrollment, pay change, and other activities such as human resource metrics. The ideal candidate is a creative, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment leveraging technology and providing general assistance in varied areas such as payroll, benefits and leave, recruiting support, employee relations, HRIS, and others. In this role, you will be a strategic partner, using your proven track record of organization, innovation, self-motivation, and drive to solve unique organizational challenges through people-related solutions. On a daily basis you will have opportunities to be flexible, dynamic and energetic as you serve as a consultant to management on issues related to staff. At the same time, you will be a coach and cultural role model to both managers and employees, ensuring that NMC Health's values are upheld making it a great place to come and work.

As of 1/21/22, NMC Health requires all employees to be vaccinated unless a medical or religious exemption is needed.
Qualifications:
Education and experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency required
  • Previous employee benefit management experience required
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and communicating clearly and effectively a must
  • Desire to learn and grow a long-term career in Human Resources. Future potential to develop either in the department or within the organization is feasible with the proper passion and interests!
