If you would like to be a part of our team and make real difference in people’s lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking an full-time Onsite Human Resources Administrator.

The Human Resources Administrator will provide confidential administrative support for Human Resources Department and leadership team. This detail oriented, highly organized, individual will be responsible for assuring all Human Resources compliance documentation and statutory requirements are current and complete.

Salary Range: 35,000 to 40,000

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of personnel files.
  • Manage new hire and annual required medical screenings. Including processing authorizations, tracking results and documentation collection.
  • Process new hire background checks with the Connecticut Department of Children and Families as well as the State Police.
  • Process and education verification for new hires
  • Manage personnel document compliance, tracking requirements and obtaining updated documentation.
  • Manage staff training compliance. Track annual training requirements and coordinate with CFGC staff to obtain completion
  • The maintenance of an intern database, coordinate intern onboarding and assure documentation compliance
  • Track and maintain database of Clinical staff licensing
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding and orientation
  • Assist in the update of HR data, status changes and payroll administration in ADP system
  • Assist with employee customer service, providing support on HR issues, benefits, policy and HRIS issues
  • Coordinate agency staff meeting arrangements
  • Ordering business cards, name tags and other personnel items as necessary
  • Conduct monthly fire drills and fire extinguisher maintenance
  • Research, compile and analyze data for special HR projects
  • Manage the organization and indexing of HR documentation to assure documentation is complete, current, and accessible

Qualifications
:

  • Detail Oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree with equivelent work experience equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative function
  • Human Resources experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and verbal
  • Multi-tasking capabilities
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 virus, unless eligible for a medical or religious exemption.
