SALARY: $62,000 - $69,440 with up to 6 years of aligned experience

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Capital Business Partner will serve as the direct contact for a portfolio of schools and as a thought partner for the larger Human Capital team. This person will play a key role in DSST’s people philosophy by redefining how Human Resources serve staff in public education. This role is a truly unique opportunity where you’ll be exposed to a diverse and evolving set of responsibilities, be provided with learning opportunities from some of the smartest education minds in Colorado, and have the chance to lead high impact projects that will build and develop valuable core skills for a career in Human Capital.

Serve as the primary Human Resources Business Partner for a portfolio of DSST campuses in areas including communicating DSST's Human Resources Policies, employee support, onboarding, benefits, compensation and leave of absence

Assist in maintaining the DSST employee database ensuring complete and accurate data is kept at all times

Work closely with other members of the Employee Resources team to identify, innovate and implement new ways improve the experience of DSST staff

And other duties as assigned
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in Human Capital is preferred

Previous knowledge of employee relations and conducting employee investigations

Experience working with Workday

DSST Public Schools Overview:
DSST Public Schools (DSST) operates a network of tuition-free, open-enrollment public STEM charter schools. DSST schools operate within the Denver Public Schools (DPS) and Aurora Public Schools (APS) districts. Our schools focus on building a community where students and staff are valued for their unique talents. Meaningful relationships are at the core of our model which is why our schools are small enough so that every student is known and valued for their individuality. We have developed systems and structures to ensure our students will be prepared for college, career and life. The student population across the DSST network is 84% students of color and 71% qualify for free and reduced lunch. This year, DSST will serve approximately 6,000 students at fifteen schools on nine campuses across Denver and Aurora.
