NOAH requires all new hires to have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before their start date and be scheduled for their second dose. JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including enforcing company policies and practices. The Generalist provides strategic and hands-on support for the HR function in the areas of orientation, employee relations, compliance, and training in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Develop and deliver various HR trainings (open enrollment, performance evaluations, HR best practices, etc.) Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Travel throughout the Phoenix Metro area required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources

EXPERIENCE
Required

  • 3-5 years in HR/ Generalist experience.

Preferred:

  • 5 + years of relevant HR work experience

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE/ETC.
Required:

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card - State Have a current Fingerprint Clearance card, or within seven (7) working days after employment shall apply and be eligible for a Fingerprint Clearance card (NOAH clinical sites and Pediatric Behavioral Health sites ONLY

Preferred

  • HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP or similar)
  • It is expected that all certifications, licenses, etc. are renewed by the expiration date to remain compliant.
