ABOUT THE JOB!
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a Human Resources Business Partner in the management of employee relations for Gentex Corporation and to ensure that the activities of the Human Resources function contribute to and support the operational goals, culture and values of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in progressive exempt level Human Resources position
  • 3-4 years employee relations experience and strategic recruiting experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM certification preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • This role will have generalist/business partner responsibilities serving as a key member of the leadership team to assist in driving business results
  • Analyze and present information to the management team that enables good business decisions
  • Drive and support cross-group HR initiatives
  • Drive systemic organizational and people strategies that are aligned to the business strategy
  • Partner with and coach business leadership team to facilitate organization and culture change
  • Responsible for coaching leaders during performance management, talent acquisition, compensation administration, legal compliance and organizational development
  • Coordinate and administer recruitment and staffing programs, policies, and procedures to attract, select, and retain qualified candidates to ensure continued organizational growth and stability
  • Coordinate and administer employee relations programs, policies, and procedures to promote positive relationships with employees to foster a positive working environment where employees feel valued, respected and empowered to perform at their best
  • Identify or assist leaders in identifying both technical and soft-skilled development needs for employees, through needs analysis, performance reviews and management interviews
  • Ensure all local programs, practices and procedures are consistent with the Company's philosophy, policies and objectives and are in compliance with applicable legislation
