DeLaval Dairy Service is a local dairy service division of DeLaval Inc. located in Tillamook Oregon. The service technician position will allow you to service and maintain milking equipment, robotics, and commercial refrigeration equipment.

BASIC FUNCTION

As a service technician you will respond to incoming service calls and perform routine maintenance on milking and refrigeration equipment on dairy farms. If you enjoy being outside, working in a team environment and passionate about maintaining equipment this is a great opportunity for you. HVAC Service technician will report to the Tillamook Service Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair, install, and service milk cooling systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on milk cooling and milking equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
• Complete work orders including paperwork, invoicing, and manage truck inventory

REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• EPA certified for refrigeration service
• Must have completed tech school program for refrigeration or have more than 2 years of HVAC experience
• A customer-centric mindset and drive to support in a team or collaborative environment.
• Self-motivator and willing to be flexible.
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with familiarity to industrial tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

• English (written and spoken) is required. Spanish is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug test

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
