Hydroponics, Retail Sales Job at Smokers Choice
Hydroponic & indoor/outdoor grow supply store coming soon to Cobleskill, NY is seeking FT and PT Sales Associates. Benefits are available for Full Time employees.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for as well as prior hands on experience with indoor and/or outdoor gardening.
Skills
- Prior sales experience in a retail setting is highly recommended.
- Experience with indoor gardening, outdoor gardening and/or hydroponics is preferred.
- Thorough Knowledge of growing supplies/plant nutrients a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Must be comfortable working alone or as a team
- Desire to learn as well as educate
- Computer literacy required
- A high school degree or GED preferred
- The ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Punctual/reliable
Duties
- Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and offer suggestions
- Assist customers with product selection
- Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships
- Meeting or exceed sales goals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Assist with checking in orders
- Maintain accurate inventory counts
Pay
- $15-$16+/hour. Wage is commensurate with experience. Benefits are available for Full Time employees.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
