Job title: Implementation Manager
Reports to: VP of Payment Operations
Location: Alpharetta, GA


SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for on-boarding new SMB customers, as well as implementing new products, platforms, and services for the portfolio customers. This position will develop processes to introduce new programs or systems into the workplace effectively. The tasks involve facilitating use of new programs and improving existing workflow and coordinating issues in conjunction with the IT team. The Sr. Manager of Implementations is also accountable for a smooth and accurate account set up and maintenance, and with backend systems


JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:

  • Lead planning and implementation of departmental automation projects critical to the efficiency of merchant settlement and implementations teams.
  • Establish necessary process controls to mitigate any emerging risks.
  • Institute and communicate any process improvements to align with key organizational goals.
  • Participate in UAT and QA for any backend code release, not limited to providing business requirements, design documents and validation.
  • Act as a liaison between Priority and Fiserv and TSYS for any operational issues and/or new initiatives.
  • Resolve issues with boarding failures related to XML and files to ensure newly approved merchants are boarded in a timely manner.
  • Complete and submit applicable registration to card brands (utilities, rent, small merchants).
  • Coordinate monthly billing with Fiserv and TSYS.
  • Facilitate monthly report reporting to sponsor banks.
  • Administer everyday workflow of all implementation processes and provide technical support to all associates.
  • Coordinate with the team to resolve all issues within the required timeframe and recommend appropriate changes to all policies and procedures and evaluate all implementation for the team.
  • Monitor all implementation requests and administer staff working and assist team and senior implementation managers and provide required coaching for the same.
  • Evaluate all management information reports and ensure achievement of all team objectives and provide support to senior implementation managers.
  • Assigned high volume, high complexity implementations involving a technical implementation
  • Create and develop training materials relative to customer’s needs.
  • Track new account boarding and failures; provide feedback to customer and sales representatives as needed.
  • Lead implementation kick-off calls with Sales, Product, and IT teams.
  • Proactively review the account implementation process and offer suggestions for improvement to achieve the highest level of productivity/efficiency/customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in updating our materials to keep them current with new processes, procedures, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi task.
  • Consistently meet SLA’s with account maintenance.
  • Regular reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
  • Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to read, understand, and work with APIs, files, and customers data sets
  • Proficiency of PCs- Microsoft Office basics (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with a diverse customer and employee population.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and must have the ability to manage a fast-paced, result orientated environment.
  • Working knowledge of TSYS Express/Masi and Fiserv AccessOne platform.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Understanding of 171 bulk file and XMLcommands.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and multitasking capabilities.
  • A team player with high energy.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent Industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in payment processing and merchant implementations back office.
