Infrastructure Engineer Job at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company
Summary of Responsibilities
Maintains the organization's IT hybrid cloud infrastructure, which may include hardware, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, or physical facilities. Configures, installs, maintains, and provides support for critical software, hardware, and cloud components. Monitors system availability, troubleshoots, and resolves system interruptions. Measures and improves performance and scalability. Helps develop disaster recovery or business continuity plans. Can implement, maintain, and support key technical components within the IT hybrid cloud infrastructure to assure reliability and effective performance (including cloud technologies, virtualization, enterprise storage and automation). Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems, and engages higher-level staff on only the most complex issues as necessary. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. This position will require that you work on site at our corporate headquarters in West Bend, WI.

- Intermediate proficiency with cloud-native solutions in Azure
- Intermediate proficiency with Azure DevOps release pipelines
- Intermediate proficiency with IaC toolsets
Preferred Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
