Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices with a desire to advance into a customer facing Account Executive position. As an Inside Account Manager, you will partner with Account Executives and provide daily support of their sales activity.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting Senior Account Executives by managing all internal aspects of client accounts including clerical tasks such as processing sales orders.
- Assist Account Executives with the Cerium sales and operational processes.
- Partner with Account Executives and participate in sales activities for both existing customers and new business development.
- Support Account Executives with CRM data entry, workflow and tasks for following up with clients, vendors and other supporting departments.
- Coordinate and prepare complex quotations and supporting documentation and ensuring precise configurations and pricing.
- Serve as a key point of contact for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations directly from customers and Account Executives.
- Processing orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer request to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage sales cycle daily by engaging with Account Executives, manufactures, distributors, current and potential clients.
- Build and develop strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Proactively contact Cerium’s clients on a regular basis to schedule meetings for Account Executives, and/or follow-up on orders as requested.
- Answer telephones and return calls promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
A successful Inside Account Manager will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
- Must have experience with working with clients. Proven work experience in a sales support and/or administrative role is strongly recommended.
- Strong phone presence.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to understand and work through complex processes.
- Well organized and detail orientated.
- A team player who can take lead and work directly with Account Executives to achieve revenue growth.
- CRM (Customer Relation Management): experience and understanding of the importance of the CRM tool during the sales process.
- Customer oriented with the ability to maintain and grow business relationships.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers and prospects.
