The Installation and Services Manager oversees and directs multi-disciplined teams assembling, installing, and servicing packaging equipment, including machine centers, integrated robotic palletizing systems, and product conveyor.

In this role, you will...

• Act as primary leader and customer interface/contact for equipment construction at clients’ facilities
• Develop and maintain installation standards including installation procedures, equipment handling, and scheduling.
• Coordinate and lead installation bid meetings via online meetings or in person at customer facility.
• Coordinate and lead mechanical and electrical contractors on the setting and assembly of production lines.
• Enforce contractor adherence to safety and health policies and regulations.
• Establish and nurture a positive and productive working relationship among customers, internal project team members, and contractors.
• Manage and facilitate prompt, meaningful communications with customers to resolve technical issues that arise during equipment installations.
• Routinely report installation progress and drive on-site planning actions.
• Support the Engineering and Project Management teams with site visits including documentation of existing lines and facility, detailing of point of connections, identification of egress and restrictions.
• Support the Engineering and Project Management teams with production start activities.
• Support the Engineering and Project Management teams with troubleshooting, updating, and replacing conveyor/ machinery.
• Negotiate field change requests when required.
• Recruit and train future team members.

Who we're looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field or substantial applicable experience in the field in lieu of degree.
• 10-15 years of experience combined in facility and equipment maintenance and/or equipment fabrication/assembly.
• Experience supervising a multi-disciplined team – electrical and mechanical.
• Experience managing construction activities.
• Effective change management, problem solving, and communication skills (both oral and written).
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes, techniques, practices.
• Experience reading mechanical prints and electrical schematics.
• Able to define a problem, gather data to draw conclusions. and develop appropriate plans to address.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient in business software (MS Office or similar).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 60% of time.
