Intermodal Dispatcher/Customer Service Job at EJQ Express Inc
- 2-3 years of experience as a truck dispatcher in a trucking/intermodal
- Assist the main dispatcher with daily driver scheduling
- Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.
- Scheduling appointments with customers/warehouse/railyards for all deliveries and pickups.
- Running all on hand container lists through various railyards for availability and pickup status.
- Entering new orders into company system after negotiating with customers via phone or emails.
- Updating orders and generating final invoices
- Communicating with customers/brokers related to loads and charges
- Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed.
- Reviewing drivers’ logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times, Indicate problems and assist in resolving issues.
- Monitor compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
Schedule:
