Looking to grow your professional communications skillset? The Internal Communications Coordinator (hybrid Alpharetta-based) will have the opportunity to write, plan, design and deploy a wide range of communications to our 12,000-person global workforce. Excellent writing skill is crucial, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
  • Develops, writes and executes the design, production and distribution of a range of communications including emails, newsletters and presentations, with a focus on delivering clear, consistent and actionable information.
  • Works directly with leaders and high-profile internal clients on developing and executing communication plans in support of their initiatives, such as HR, diversity & inclusion, onboarding new employees, training, etc.
  • Assists in programs focusing on interns and new hires, ensuring that our newest colleagues feel welcome, engaged and informed.
  • Collaborates with broader internal communications teams and coordinates projects based on the overarching editorial calendar.
  • Assists in segmenting and updating distribution lists.
  • Researches internal news, projects and innovative ideas within the company to develop content that supports and reinforces company values.
  • Proofreads contributed content and other team members’ work for clarity, grammar, spelling and style.
  • Measures and reports on the impact of all major messaging and projects.
  • Provides onsite support as needed for employee events at our Alpharetta headquarters.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Previous education and/or work experience in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or other communications-related fields.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to support and interact with senior leadership.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Professionalism to deal with confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a globally distributed comms team.
  • A passion for learning and self-development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with video-conferencing tools such as Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Additional desirable skills include Photoshop, EmailOpen or other web-based mail tools, basic HTML, video editing or any other communications-related technologies and skills.
