Inventory & Accounting Assistant

Our corporate team at Bretz RV & Marine is looking for an Inventory and Accounting Assistant, who will handle daily tasks related to inventory management and related accounting duties.

To be successful in this position, you will need: meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, accountability for your work, flexibility with duties as priorities change, a calm, methodical working style, a positive demeanor, and problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Enter and Update New & Used Inventory
• Maintain Inventory Files and Documents
• Daily Correspondence with Sales and Finance Departments
• Enter Freight Invoices and Reconcile Monthly Statements
• Assist in payment of COD units
• Send weekly inventory and flooring reports
• Regular Correspondence with Manufacturer and Freight Representatives
• Perform regular physical audit of Inventory and Customer Storage
• Assist with other accounting duties as time and experience allows

Education and Experience

• Those with a high school diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Meet) applications, as well as industry-specific databases/software
• Comfortable using automated workflow management systems
• Ability to work as a part of a cohesive team and as a self-directed individual
• Two years of accounting experience preferred
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or management is a plus but not required

Compensation

• $35,000 to $45,000 annually (DOE)

Schedule

• 8am to 5pm | Mon to Fri
• Full-time

About Our Dealership

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. Searching for a new camping trailer turned into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
