PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The primary function of this position is to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues as reported by internal customers. Bilingual of Chinese Mandarin is preferred, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide telephone, remote, or in-person IT service and support to all HF Foods team members
• Monitor ticket queues, resolve assigned tickets with appropriate assistance from other team members and third-party vendors, escalate tickets as needed until resolved
• Deliver excellent customer service to end users in a timely fashion providing follow-up as needed and documenting all end-user interactions in the IT Help Desk application
• Install and configure hardware and software components in accordance with IT policies
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance, patches and upgrades on all technological equipment on a scheduled basis
• Assist with the procurement and inventory of IT assets

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Help Desk IT operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience troubleshooting various PC hardware and software platforms
• Ability and willingness for occasional travel to east coast company sites (from Greensboro, NC location) is a plus
• Bilingual of Chinese Mandarin is preferred, but not required

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• Two years’ experience diagnosing and resolving computer hardware and software issues for end users
