POSITION: Janitor / Maintenance Worker

LOCATION: Based at Camden CSBG

HOURS: 40 Hours per Week - FULL-TIME

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open Until Filled

DATE POSITION TO BE FILLED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $ 13.00 per hour

JOB DUTIES:

Lawn & landscape maintenance and light building maintenance and /or renovation at assigned sites

Light electrical and/or plumbing, interior & exterior painting including trim.

General labor, cleaning of all assigned sites on a consistent schedule, including floors, halls, bathrooms, furniture, rugs and carpets, windows, and any work areas assigned.

Empty all trash receptacles and transport to designated disposal area.

Inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed with supervisor approval.

Conduct Monthly Work site inspections, correcting discrepancies found.

Assist in delivery of commodity foods in any assigned area. Loading/unloading and transporting to assigned commodity site.

Set up and break down of tables and chairs in auditorium/cafeteria/offices

Implement applicable CADC policies procedures and goals and Maintain confidentiality.

Attend any and all staff meetings and complete required trainings.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Must have experience in general building & grounds maintenance with excellent oral / written communication, customer service, and organizational skills required. Able to work independently and manage a flexible schedule in a fast pace environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check. Must have valid Arkansas drivers license and safe driving record and able to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
