Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers (Commercial New Construction) Job at Performance Personnel Services, LLC
Performance Construction is currently looking for qualified Commercial Journeyman Plumbers and 3rd and 4th year apprentices to work in Vail, Co. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience for apprentices and a minimum of 5 years of experience for journeyman, working on commercial construction projects. Hotel experience is a plus. Candidates must have reliable transportation, posses their own tools, and have ability to lift over 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and design ability of related plumbing systems
- Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Working knowledge of all hand and power tools
- Performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
- Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary
- Interacts with customers and documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files
- Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Plumbing experience in commercial construction.
- Qualified candidates must have the ability to plan, layout and install all drain systems, domestic water systems, natural gas systems, install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, kitchen equipment & elevator sump pumps.
Pay is $25.00 - $45.00 an hour.
Perdiem is offered for anyone commuting more than 50 miles. Perdiem is 130.00 dollars a day.
