Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a keen eye for design and an arsenal of branding experience to join our growing team. The responsibilities include the process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, and layouts. You will be the one to shape the visual aspects of marketing campaigns, retail displays, printed collateral, web assets, email / SMS messaging, and more. Your work should continue the voice of our in-house brands and retail stores, capturing the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a sharp eye and be able to work under deadline. A strong ability to translate messaging, details, and promotions into design. The goal is to inspire and attract audiences new and existing.

Responsibilities

• Work with our creative director and marketing teams to create and design visuals to promote our brands as well as our stores.
• Conceptualize visuals, prepare rough drafts, present ideas, and execute for all marketing channels.
• Work on multiple projects at once and consistently meet deadlines.
• Take ownership of in-store displays and consumer facing messaging.
• Create and refresh templates used for email campaigns and other assets.
• Consistently create unique and on brand visuals for social media, menus, and web.
• Be able to work on multiple design styles across all company brands: Pleasantrees, Gud Nuff, Pistil Janes and Highly Casual.
• Digest feedback in a positive manner and rework deliverables when needed.

Experience and Requirements

• At least 2+ years of proven graphic design experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• A strong portfolio of graphics, branding, and illustrations displaying originality. Websites preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. XD and After Effects huge plus.
• Be able to work and adapt on the fly in a quickly moving work environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• High attention to details with the ability to work methodically and manage multiple projects.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening (excludes THC).
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
