Pagosa Springs Medical Center has an opening for a full time Laboratory Technical Supervisor. The Lab Technical Supervisor supervises all clinical aspects / activities of the Laboratory. Works cooperatively with the Laboratory Medical Director and the Laboratory Administrative Manager. Must be able to oversee the work of others and make fair judgment about work skills and behaviors. Directs and/or supervises the clinical training of others. Ensures the Lab meets established Quality measurements. Aware of workload and plans accordingly. Supports clinical Lab functions if staff is unavailable. Performs all work in accord to the mission, vision and values of Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
- Education/Training & Experience: Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Laboratory Sciences with completion of approved internship in Medical Technology required. Minimum of 5 years lab training or experience AND minimum of 2 years of supervisory, consultation and/or teaching experience.
- Special Skills, Licenses or Certifications: MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) or equivalent required. Basic computer knowledge.
- Compensation Range: $39.42 - $60.75 hourly, dependent on years of experience.
