• Workout for free at any Broomfield recreation center!

• Enforces pool rules and safety regulations to prevent drowning, injuries or accidents.
• Monitors and observes all areas of the pool areas and reacts proactively.
• Assists and rescues swimmers when necessary.
• Administers first aid and performs other emergency services as needed including CPR, AED, and backboarding.
• Provides customer service to all customers, answers questions, talks to customers, explains, communicates with them.
• Inspects facilities for cleanliness and assists with daily maintenance duties to keep pool, deck, and locker rooms clean, reports issues.
• Fills out all necessary paperwork
• Assists with opening and closing procedures.
• Attends and contributes at in-service training, skills practice sessions and meetings.

• Takes proper safety precautions, anticipates unsafe circumstances, and acts accordingly to prevent accidents. Uses all required safety equipment.

• Teaches swimming lessons according to a prescribed routine and curriculum.
• Tests program participants for swimming level skills; passes participants for participation in more advanced classes.

• Performs any and all other related job responsibilities.
