Maintenance Sales Specialist Job at CDW

The primary purpose of this position is working with our Account Management team to expand and grow the renewal maintenance solutions into existing Sirius Federal and prospective new accounts. In this role you can anticipate quoting a high volume of RFQs, both proactively and transactional.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Collaborate with Renewals team members to achieve assigned goals and objectives by working with Account Management team to leverage their relationships to up sell the value of Sirius Federal’s maintenance services.
  • Identifies new and existing customer maintenance needs and opportunities including the introduction of maintenance solutions to close each sale.
  • Efficiently and accurately respond to government quote requests – including direct requests and solicitations posted to government bid sites.
  • Maintains pipeline of renewal maintenance business to attain assigned annual quota.
  • Receive and process orders in the system.
  • Utilize all internal and external resources, take initiative to drive sales results.
  • Develop and secure relationships within our partner community to leverage expertise and knowledge.
  • Develops and maintains account relationships to maximize long-term sales opportunities and ensure effective negotiation of contracts, terms and conditions, and discounts.
  • Perform customer service duties as needed to properly support your customer.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent related experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in consultative selling, renewal management & relationship management in an enterprise/solution preferred

  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Federal industry knowledge
  • Background in Cisco Systems
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
