AMSOIL INC. has an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will maintain building and grounds, production machinery, HVAC equipment, and lighting and building structures to AMSOIL standards. This includes completing minor building repairs, carpentry, machinery repairs, electrical repairs, and facility inspections. This position reports to the AMSOIL center located in Superior, Wisconsin.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, both electrical and mechanical
  • Assist production department in the setup of packaging lines for quicker, more accurate startups
  • Perform electrical and mechanical project work by reading and understanding schematics and blueprints
  • Weld and fabricate components for electrical, piping, packaging, and mechanical systems
  • Maintain and repair production material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet riders, fleet vehicles
  • Maintain interior and exterior appearance and structure of all company-owned buildings and grounds
  • Perform facility inspections to ensure that AMSOIL standards are being maintained and met
  • Operate equipment including plow truck, tractor, snow blower, scissor lift, forklift, and aerial lift
Position Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Available to work Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Two-year Technical degree in related field
  • Welding/fabricating experience
  • Pipe welding experience
  • Pipe fitting experience
  • PLC training
  • Low voltage wiring experience up to 480V
  • Experience in installation and repair of pumps, power transmission, and piping systems
  • Forklift maintenance experience
