Position Summary:
Marketing & Communications Account Executive - Provides marketing coordination and account service functions to facilitate effective, professional communications on behalf of Health Alliance Medical Plans with its many clients/customers: physicians, providers, members, potential members, employer groups, media, and employees. In addition, the MarComm AE supervises the implementation plans for the production of advertising, publications and other media. The AE may handle member communications including retention campaigns, promotion of member benefits and care coordination, and government mandated communications, or marketing outreach campaigns to grow our business.
Salary range - $24.28-38.52

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Related Field or Experience in Lieu of Education - Four (4) years� experience working in a professional setting, managing projects and working with clients or other departments.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year Business, and strong experience in project management. Acute attention to detail, is comfortable with various computer programs and can work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Experience in Marketing/Advertising communications preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Should be able draw upon educational, professional and practical experience to guide decision-making, given general guidelines and clarification when needed. Must be comfortable with computers, including spreadsheet, word processing, project management and online programs. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and complete complex, multiple tasks to meet deadlines is also required. Should be analytical and possess excellent judgement. Effective presenter. Able to write and edit at a college level. Able to work successfully on several widely different projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of branding and able to apply to daily work situations.
Essential Functions:
- Generates innovative ideas; challenges traditional ways of thinking and approaches to work problems.
- Presents creative materials and concepts to clients.
- Provides consulting services to all client areas.
- Serves as project manager/client liaison for all assigned projects.
- Effectively maneuvers a project through all stages (from conception through completion) working within parameters of budget, internal and external client approvals, government regulations, etc.
- Assists in the development of annual department goals Works with creative team to facilitate cooperative, productive work processes.
- Proofreads own writing and the writing of other AEs to identify and correct errors and to bring writing into alignment with corporate standards.
- Develops ideas and oversees content for web pages for each client.
- If marketing focused, develops promotional efforts of the marketing plan, works with internal staff to develop advertising plans and produce advertising elements.
