Under direction of Strategic Brand Director, the position will assist in creating a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy – with end-to-end execution of projects. This role will be a part of the Footwear Div. Brand Marketing team which oversees brand marketing requirement for all footwear brands (In house and Licensed) under the footwear division.

This is a full-time permanent role, and the ideal candidate is located in the greater Chicago area allowing for a hybrid working schedule at our headquarter office in Elgin, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project management of multi-channel marketing campaigns, materials, and brand communications.
- Maintain alignment between business strategy and creative execution.
- Act as a guardian of the brand – visual identity, brand experience and voice & tone, – keeping strategic brand goals top of mind, and championing the brand internally & externally.
- Lead development and oversee execution of creative production projects of varying complexities – such as long form content assets, videos, sales collateral, digital / web experiences.
- Collaborate with different teams within marketing and across the organization.
- Development of multi-disciplinary project plans and ensure all marketing campaign and project data is documented.
- Resource planning and prioritization for complex projects.
- Facilitation of project communication from planning through execution.
- Prepare project reports for stakeholders, highlight areas of opportunity to improve campaign planning, management, and execution.
- Third-party vendor management and negotiation for Photoshoots, Video, print, merchandise and other marketing materials.
- Oversee changes impacting marketing projects, manage risk to execution dates, identify roadblocks and take initiative to facilitate solutions.
- Stay current on market trends, industry activities, and industry best practices to ensure the team is informed of critical nuances.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of marketing experience and at least 3 years of experience in brand management (preferably at an agency or an in-house marketing team).
- Knowledge of social media platforms will be considered an asset.
- Experience managing & negotiating with third-party vendors and managing the production for a variety of marketing materials.
- Experience in working in a matrix organization with multiple approval process.
- Incredible eye for detail – able to spot and action against brand violations.
- Excellent organizational skills, with experience taking ownership of complex projects and managing projects to completion.
- Adaptable—you shift gears quickly and manage time well.
- Creative thinker, visual storyteller.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Able to travel internationally.
