Job description
Standard Sheet Metal Works, Inc., a locally owned and operated metal fabricator, in business for over 83 years, is seeking a full time material handlers to join its production team.

Scope of Work:
- Material handling
- Fork truck operation
- Packaging/rust proofing
- Deburring
- Facility clean up
- Laser unloading
- Part cleaning
Required Qualifications:
Be able to adhere to our safety guidelines
Attendance is essential
Ability to be on your feet 8/10 hours a day
Demonstrate attention to detail
Be quality oriented.
Have a strong work ethic
Have the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
Have the ability to consistently be at work and on time
Have good communication skills
Qualifications and experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a metal fabrication facitliy.
- The ability to verify the quality of your own work.
- The ability to read and understand drawings.
