We're looking for a Medical Assistant who is comfortable working in a busy, paperless environment. Tasks would include taking vitals, rooming patients, cleaning rooms, assisting with procedures, etc. You will report to the Lead Medical Assistant.
What You'll Do
- Greet patients in a service-oriented manner in compliance with practice protocols and workflows
- Interview patients, measure vital signs and record concern
- Work with patients to confirm identity and obtain consent
- Ensure specimens are associated with the relevant patient
- Ensure a sanitary environment through collection support
- Perform nasal swab Covid-19 testing
- Check-in and registration support as needed
About You
- 2+ years experience and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Able to work Monday through Friday 8 to 5 in our San Jose office
- Reliable team player, who takes ownership for your work
- We are counting on you to deliver thoughtful, compassionate patient care
- The pay range for this role is $22 to $28 an hour
