Medical Assistant - Pulmonology
Previous experience in working in Pulmonary, is helpful! Having insurance authorization is a plus. Bilingual preferred but not required

Keys to Success in this Role:
- Prepare e-charts prior to visit
- Assist traffic at front window
- Complete check in processes
- Properly room patients
- Assist provider during examination and treatment
- Perform incidental duties as needed
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Strong team player
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Strong customer service orientation
- Basic computer proficiency
- Previous experience in a Back Office role required
- Pulmonary experience helpful
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Pulmonology office experience a plus
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Occupational Exposure:
- Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
